The story of humanity’s convergence with technology and our changing world.

A non-profit 501(c)(3) Entertainment / Education Platform focused on advancing public understanding and awareness of emerging technologies, society’s global grand challenges and the changing nature of humanity in a digital world.

In times of uncertainty people are looking for a center of certainty, understanding, a shared purpose and hope.

The ultimate goal is to support the collective well-being of society

  • Uses a thoughtfully structured format of entertainment and storytelling to empower people from the bottom up, enabling them to engage in a continuous cycle of life-long learning, understanding and preparing for the future.
  • Gives advertisers an alternative and collaborative advertising business model.  The Stakeholder Capitalism media supply chain features sponsoring brands the leaders inspiring people to do the next right thing in preparation for and participation in shaping our changing world . The regenerative media cycle rewards brands for content they provide, sets up a reputation system for how all businesses are viewed in the public eye and gives sponsoring brands a common shared purpose,  and transparent, authentic, safe storytelling platform to drive life long learning, real impact and lasting social change.
  • Is able to be profitable and grow, and at the same time, operates for the public interest as a 21st century digital gathering place, unifying humanity in our collective social, civic and digital societies.

A first-of its-kind digital network that shapes how technology, business, government and civil society will work together to use our increasing reliance on internet platforms as a catalyst for progress towards a more equitable, sustainable future. The original content streaming format introduces a Stakeholder Capitalism advertising model that treats people as the customer not the product.

Creating public places is essential in thriving communities because people need accessibility to open places that they may gather. Public parks are unifying spaces in every great city where people can share experiences in a playful space. Public parks invite people to take a break from the hustle of the city and reflect on other aspects of life.

In the same sense, as people spend more of their lives engaged in cyber spaces, the necessity for thoughtfully designed digital infrastructure becomes more apparent. The data mining algorithms create a fog that surrounds the potential that this technology can bring. In the physical world, public infrastructure sets a standard of civility. The internet presents an opportunity to unify digital societies by utilizing the same planning tools as the cities we live in.

There are businesses, landlords and civilians all coexisting without structure within the internet. The landlords of the digital world have found themselves in control of the flow of information in this space, creating a digital inequality among the people who have access to it. These digital landlords are the handful of corporations that seek rent payments in the form of attention. By profiting off our attention, the landlords have unintentionally created a veil of ignorance around the capabilities of emerging technologies. We must get zapped and hold those accountable to change the online community for the better!

City Parks are created in order to make a space for congregation in a recreational learning facility and get the people out of business districts. theZAP offers a digital reimagination of a Public Park. The online community is in need of a streamlined and unbiased platform, a Digital Public Park™, where individuals can access information that can be used in discussion with one another. Through purposeful marketing at scale and corporate partnership, The Digital Public Park™ will encourage your ability to learn and grow alongside technology.

We believe that if the internet and future technologies are going to impact the world in positive ways; then, EVERYONE must be able to understand how to use these innovations to add value to our lives. In times of uncertainty, people need a way to be informed and inspired to create healthy connections over a shared purpose.

We believe that the Attention Economy business model of today’s networked platforms is allowing for propaganda to divide society in ways most people are unable to comprehend. We understand that public tech platforms can be ethically reimagined with a Regenerative Attention Economy design that is neither manipulative or destructive. A model that generates meaningful public participation and profits from the well being of all people and society.

As collectors and sellers of data, we believe that the buyers of information (Advertisers) are responsible for using Attention Economy to enhance the quality of life of those targeted. theZAP introduces a much needed new media supply chain to produce meaningful change. A society affirming business strategy that benefits corporations, people and society equally.

We believe that the digital space is just as impactful on human life as the cities that we live in and society needs to think of the internet in the same manner. The current state of the internet is reminiscent of New York in the late 1800’s, when the city was evolving into a metropolis. The city districts were all in disarray and without a designated place for recreation, quality of life began to degrade. City planners created the central park as a place for its citizens to use instead of the streets, allowing for the city to get organized into the New York that we think of today. The internet is in need of a Digital Public Park™ to help reconstruct and organize it into the healthy human-centered tool we believe that it can be.

We are now more connected than ever and have proven to ourselves that we can incorporate new technologies to better our lives at a rapid rate.

Video chatting with friends and family from long distances has allowed for the human race to delve further into digital citizenship. Collaborations on scales that we have never seen before originated from the dilemma that COVID19 created. This newfound ability to cooperate with one another regardless of distance has been available to us for a long time but people are now finding ways to push the potential of this mindset.

The technologies allowing us to communicate and work together, while still being isolated, are going to be enhanced and made available to the masses. We must realize the opportunities that have developed due to COVID19 and work together to stay informed on how we can apply ourselves in this new world.

theZAP offers companies an opportunity to reach their audience with hope and compassion through sharing knowledge about new social norms, relief efforts and regulation. A Digital Public Park™ will be the nurturing grounds for the symbiotic growth between humans, technology and the corporations bringing everything together in a healthy way through human alliance. This is our ZAPhilosophy during these trying times, to move forward together!

A Digital Public Park

theZAP welcomes you to the Digital Public Park! Here, you will be provided with the resources needed to stay relevant after society-changing innovations. This is a human centered platform designed to engage all sectors of civilization in a dialog about how to use technologies to benefit our lives.

City parks bring sanctuary to the frenzied world around us. They are designated places of recreation and education through preservation. TheZAP Digital Public Park is the online equivalent and aims to preserve a place in this world for humanity. Our Zaphilosophy consists of 5 concepts to nurture this social movement; Human Centered Future, Purposeful Marketing at Scale, Human Alliance, Super Intelligent Humans (Zapsters) and Skills of the Human Spirit. These concepts all work together to form a machine that provokes questions about what people can do to stay significant in an automated world. TheZAP Digital Public Park is a platform to pose these questions directly to the parties involved and hold them accountable for educating the masses.

Technology Innovates. Entertainment Influences.

Technology is changing the way people live at a faster rate than they are able to learn the correct way to use it. Unfortunately, society has turned a blind eye to this issue and we fear becoming obsolete. Now, a window of opportunity has now appeared in your browser. TheZAP Digital Public Park allows for us to shape how technological breakthroughs are developed for the benefit of humanity!

Thought Leader Quotes

“The psychology of technology, issues like privacy and data collection, is a subject that is now in the vocabulary and starting to be widely discussed. And now, we all have to figure out a way to take it to the next level and change some things.”

– Apple CEO, Tim Cook

“We need public polices along with private sector action to try to close the divides exacerbated by digital skills, and I think all of us in the tech sector and especially companies that have a global footprint have both an incredible opportunity and an extraordinary responsibility.”

– Brad Smith, President of Microsoft

“I believe we need a more active role for governments and regulators. By updating the rules for the internet, we can preserve what’s best about it– while also protecting society from broader harms. These are important for keeping our community safe. But if we were starting from scratch, we wouldn’t ask companies to make these judgments alone.”

– Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook, CEO
